David G. Hermann, Chair

Mr. Hermann, a resident of Sunrise Manor, Nevada is a young retiree from the U.S. Air Force and a 17-year resident of Nevada.  He holds numerous degrees, including:  Associate in Applied Science in Digital Equipment Technology, Bachelor of Science in Distributed Studies, Master of Business Administration, and Juris Doctorate in Law.  His U.S. Air Force career focused on Command and Control Operations, Test and Evaluation, and Secure Communications.  He spent a great deal of time in Nevada as part of his Air Force career and has excellent knowledge of the Nevada training and testing ranges.  Upon his retirement from the military, David returned to school to earn a law degree from the Boyd School of Law at UNLV.  Mr. Hermann is a practicing attorney, licensed in Nevada and Utah.  He joined the Board in 2004 and has served as the Chairperson of the Transportation/Waste Committee and the Budget Committees, has served on the Budget and Recruitment Committees, and is the current Board Chair.
